Immigrants

We are a country of immigrants, and New York City has been an entry point for people from all over the world. As an English as Second Language Teacher I was fortunate to hear the stories of many who have arrived here looking for a better life. My students' life stories inspired me to paint a series of paintings based on their lives and to connect to my own ancestors' experiences.
